Immigration rights are a very important topic, both to me personally, as well as politically. Immigration has multiple times been polled as the most important issue to voters in this midterm election. Synthesizing the 2018 election and the topic of immigration rights, I drew on this poignant quote, by Nayyirah Waheed, as well as some of the words engraved on the State of Liberty, and designed this postcard. The petals of assorted nations comprising the main flower fly off into the unknown distance, all the way, across oceans, to the United States, sometimes to be unwelcome. The goal of these postcards is for individuals to mail to their friends to inspire them to (register to) vote.
